4th of July, Family Reunion, Talon's Birthday and Lamb Days!!

Just to warn you i have combined like five posts into one so beware its kinda long but there is tons of pictures which have to be the best of all

4th of July

For the 4th of July we headed to Sanpete to Moroni to go to the Parade which was really good. I helped Coby catch candy. Nephews are so much fun. After the parade we went to my mom and dads to have a BBQ with our family.

Talon loves to Play with Uncle Chet. Chet loves to wrestle with the kids.

Dad and Chet cooked the Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Which they had to do twice because the first plate of Hamburgers the table was slick so the whole plate fell on ground might I say Matthews dog Shadow had a hayday eating the ones that fell on the ground.

The burgers were obviously flame broiled. the Flames almost reached the top of the porch It was unexpected but fun to see:)

Chet had started a water fight with the boys he would throw water right in tals face and tal thought it was pretty funny so we got a bucket so they could all play with it. Kaleb liked putting his rocks into the water as well as his foot.

Tal would put this cup on kalebs head which apperently Kaleb did not like.

Talon was so funny after Uncle Chet soaked him He would take a cup of water and pour it in the chair then sit down in it hard enough to make a splash and jump up screamin cause it was cold.

Mom was enjoying having the whole family there and loved watching ALL the boys.

That night we came back to Nephi and it poured rain and was so windy that the fireworks got cancelled. Chet and I had bought a HUGE box of fireworks (The biggest that they had) and we had Zack Chancey and Nick over to Light off some fireworks. The boys went crazy with them trying to light them because of the wind and rain so we just practically lit them all at once it took like ten min or so though to light them all of good thing for the lighter sticks that came with the fireworks.

The guys were kinda crazy and chased each other around with the smaller fountains.

Larsen Family Reunion 2009

On July 11th we went to Fairview for our Larsen Family Reunion Chet and I didnt stay for the whole thing because we were headed over to the Stampede which was fun as well.
Chet will use any excuse to play with our Nephews. Chet took Coby over onto the playground and took him down the covered slide.

It was so cute the second time around wasnt Cobys favorite but he really did like the ride the first time. And it looks like chet did too.

Mom and Uncle Pete they are the two youngest. Aunt RuthAnn and Uncle Bryan were the only siblings that werent able to be there because they are on a Mission in Louieville Kentucky.

Chet and I we were on our way back home I love this picture of us I should have taken my purse off my shoulder though.

On sunday July 12th we had Grandma Joyces 70th Birthday Party at the senior citizens center.

It was an open house so many of her friends and family were able to be there. She had a wonderful turnout. We love you Grandma Joyce.

LAMB DAYS 2009

This year we celebrated talons birthday on Friday night after the Mutton and Sourdough dinner. Which might I say was so so good. His birthday was on th 15th but Josh and Mollie wanted Chet to be able to be there. He turned 3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TALON.

Kaleb enjoyed the dinner and the Lemonade.

We got to mom and dads house and Coby found Psyco. Her name is really Dory but she never gets called that.

Chet and I since he wouldnt be to the festivities til saturday night because he had RSP Drill Saturday and Sunday.

Here is Psyco Kitty. She is such a good cat. Very calm with the kids.

She lives at my moms house because she can still play outside there and chet doesnt want a cat in the house he doesnt like them too well. She is kinda growing on him I think.

Talon got a sleeping bag from Grandma and Grandpa
Which of course had to be tried out. He took off his shoes and socks to get the whole affect!

Tal also got a Maverick truck from Grandpa and clothes from his mom and dad and Chet and i gave him some squirt guns and a jump rope. Which of course we all had to go outside and try them all.

I looked over at Kaleb to ask him how he liked the cake and here is what I found.
He was eating it with his hands and wiping his hands on his legs. What a cute little mess.

After Cake and Ice Cream we all went outside to play with the squirt guns to find one more present that was for all three of the boys from All of us. A TRAMPOLNE. Kaleb has been telling me forever that at his new house he has a trampoline hole. Well now they have something to fill that trampoline hole. Tal and Kaleb thought they would try it out by jumping on the box.

Watch out Talon Uncle chet is going to get you.

Josh and Kaleb were battling it out. I'm pretty sure that everyone got a little wet that night.

LAMB DAY July 18th 2009

The parade was so much fun. We always go down to my Grandma Rasmussens house to watch the Parade. My dad sets up our big sound system and plays music before the parade. Then that is where all the parade entries are announced. It is so much fun. This year was the 76th year for Lamb Days.

Here is Talon Kaleb and our cousin Michael Christensen.

This year My Uncle Lynn Brought down the Maverick truck he is a head manager over a string of the stores. But he brought down the truck to put the grandkids that wanted to ride in and throw candy.
Our family is the Victor and Kenna Rasmussen Family.

Here is coby at the park he was so good and had so much fun. The kids played games and played on the inflatable games

The only thing was it was so hot that we didnt do all the stuff that we usually get to do but it was still so much fun we sat in the shade by the big bowery and visited with a lot of people that we hadnt seen in a while.
Chet got over to Fountain green about seven and we headed up to mom and dads and ate sloppy joes and waited patiently for the fireworks to start Sadly chet was tired that he had to go to drill the next morning.

The fireworks finally started and were amazing they even had some that made the shape of a heart they were really good

At the end of the night dad thought that it felt so good outside that He went to sleep right after the fireworks.

What a wonderful Lamb Day that we had Im excited to see what Next year will bring.
