Letters from Chet!

Well i recieved letters from Chet on Saturday. I said that I would update everyone on how he is doing. He is doing well. So here are some of his experiences. From August 29th and 30th then also Sept 4th He said that they had been put on suicide watch because a kid in the bay next to his at reception had threatened to do harm to himself so he could go home. and while all this was going on there was a kid asleep on the top bunk that fell off and broke his shoulder. I dont know if that kid had got sent home or not. He also said that the first week there they had everyone go to a church thing that was a combination of all of the Major Religions and there were a bunch of the kids from his platoon that found out that him and a few others were LDS so they got asked a bunch of Questions.
He got to go to BCT on September 1st where he says he gets a little bit more sleep there than he did at reception (where he got like 3 hours a night) And they already gave them their M16's which he doesnt like a whole lot. I guess its just not that Exciting. He also talked about the food he said that the food isnt all that great but they do have Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. For every meal you get three Choices of a main dish and then there is Vegetables and Noodles and Stuff.
At BCT they broke up his platoon when they got there but there is 2 other LDS members in his new Platoon and He is excited to go to church on sunday.

So that is all the excitement from the letter he sent for everyone. And he is still doing well according to my letter He went to church and he enjoyed it it is making me feel so good that the gospel is there to comfort him while he is at basic and that it is making both mine and his testimonies grow.
